We recommend you find a place in the centre of Thessaloniki so you can easily access all the cool places. If you don't find something that suits your needs in the centre, we recommend you stay in the eastern part of the city.
Another option could be staying at the eastern suburbs of the city (Perea, Michaniona) which are next to the sea and much closer to the venue.
Reach out to us if you would like advise on your accommodation.
The city centre is walkable and easy to navigate, and all the important stuff is within a 20-minute walk.
Public transport is cheap but not very reliable. Taxis are abundant and cheap, and they'd be the best means of transport for reaching places outside the centre (on the wedding day for example). You can use the app FREENOW (Android, iOS) for reliable and easy rides.
You can also take a short boat ride within the gulf to go from the city center to the east suburbs, where you can even swim and enjoy nice food by the beach.
